A Glimpse of Summer

We have had quite the Summer. I didn't realize how many things we really did and the milestones that happend until I posted this blog and put all the pictures on it! It was a really great summer but it went by to fast!  But we are happy that Fall is approaching!

 

Here is a brief description and a peek of some of our summer fun!

Taylee played T-Ball....she hated it!

 

Taylee learned how to ride her bike without training wheels!

 

Taylee did a Soccer Camp at Utah Valley University. She loved it!

 

We went to many UVU and Orem Owls baseball games!

 

 

Taylee lost her first tooth...and second tooth!

 



 

Cody went to Buffalo, New York for work and he was able to visit Niagra Falls!

 

We went to the Annual Panter Family Reunion at Cow Camp!

 

We had a really fun 4th of July!

 

 

We went on a family vacation to Las Vegas!

Meg was really fascinated with Payton! She would just sniff him and put her nose on his head! It was really precious!

Memorial Day

We were lucky enough to go to Idaho for Memorial Weekend. Cody met up with his dad on Friday and they went fishing to Weston and the kids and I went to Thatcher to spend the night. We went and decorated my granparents' graves and had a yummy lunch with my family. Then to Pocatello we went and spent the remainder of the weekend with Cody's family. It rained and rained but it turned out to be a beautiful day on Monday to go and visit "Darcee's Garden"! Taylee was really looking forward to visiting Darcee's grave and so were we!! It has been a while since we have been out there. It was such a special experience to be there as a family and to take Payton there for the first time! It was a wonderful weekend and it was so fun to spend time with all of our family members!! Thank you everyone for letting us come and visit!

We love and miss you everyday Darcee!!

 

Taylee's Birthday Party

Here are a few pics from Taylee's Birthday Party. Sadly, the weather turned really yucky and after we got all set up at the park we had to move the party back to our house because the wind was really blowing and it started to rain. :( But it still was fun despite the weather!! Everyone was able to still come and my mom and dad even surprised us and showed up! It was so good to see them and have them come to the party!! Thanks everyone for coming and making it a great birthday for Taylee!!

(I am the WORST photographer and picture taker!! I didn't get a picture of everyone at the party and I didn't get one of Taylee with all of her presents after she opened them. I got to busy going here an there and visiting that I just didn't get many pictures taken....sorry all!)

Happy Birthday

HAPPY 6TH BIRTHDAY TAYLEE!!

It is hard to believe that it was six years ago today that we had the twins. Time has really flown by so fast! Taylee has grown to be such a beautiful little girl. She is so full of energy and has so much love to give. Darcee, we love and miss you everyday!! We look forward to the day that we can see you again!!

A little about Taylee:

• She is one tall little girl! She towers over most of her classmates and other kids her age.
• She loves to play house, church, and her new favorite Dentist :)
• As soon as she comes home from school, the store, from anywhere she goes upstairs and changes into a skirt and her high healed sandals. She LOVES to wear her skirts to play in!
• She loves her little brother! Payton is smothered in hugs and kisses everyday from his sister! Taylee calls him "Bubbas"... it is pretty cute. Payton also loves her too!! She is the only one that can get him to laugh. I have gotten him to laugh like twice but he laughs just seeing her. So cute!
• She loves to draw, write, and color with markers (not crayons) I can't even count how many tablets and legal pads Taylee has gone through.
• She is learning how to read and she does very well.
• She loves to go to school and play on the playground.
• She loves to play outside and ride her bike.
• She has a love for SWEETS of any kind....that would be all she would eat if she had the choice.
• She has a very contagious laugh! When she was a baby we could not get her to laugh or at least like most babies do...I think she is making up for that because she laughs A LOT now and it is the funniest giggle ever!
• She loves to help. Sometimes she is too much help but I hope that this trait will stay with her all her life!
• She loves her DAD! She is definitely a daddy's girl. She loves to go anywhere with him!!
• She loves music and loves to sing!
• She loves her cousins and Grandparents!! If you ask her they are her best friends...which is fantastic because your family is always there.
• She loves to try on shoes at the store. I think that she has a slight shoe fetish!
• Taylee is very stubborn and strong willed and she has quite the temper sometimes...but besides that Taylee is such a sweet little girl!
• Taylee has really started to understand that she has a twin sister and she has grown to love her so much! She often will say just out of the clear blue "Mom, I miss Darcee! I love her! I wish she could come back alive!" and while she says this she wraps her arms around herself as if she seems to be hugging someone. It is so very sweet and touching! She calls Darcee's grave "Darcee's Garden". I think that is what it will be called by all of us now. Because it is truly Darcee's Garden! A special resting place for our little angel!

We are so blessed to have Taylee in our home and we love her so very much!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

We are going to meet up with Clint & Heidi and the kids, Tiff and Motor and their two kids at the Park tonight for a little party. She is so excited and the weather should be really nice (luckily).

First Tooth

Well last night we noticed that Payton's first tooth has come through!! YAY for Payton!!! He has been chewing and chewing on anything and everything the past few weeks and all his diligent work has finally paid off!!

New Adventure

It has been a very long time since I have posted anything. We have had entered in a new adventure. At the beginning of March we moved to Utah. Cody got a job at Utah Valley University in Orem working as the Athletic Academic Adviser and Student Services Coordinator. We have our house up for sale in Pocatello and we hope that it will sell soon. Taylee is enjoying her new school and loves to go the parks!! Cody is LOVING his job!! It is so great to see him happy doing something that he loves. He enjoys the people he works with and he really enjoys working with the athletes and coaches. We are renting a townhouse in Pleasant Grove and we are really liking it here. I am really enjoying being at home. It is nice to be able to take Taylee to school and pick her up and be home with the kids. I am still trying to get a routine of things but in time, right?! We are adjusting really well and we are happy and looking forward to where this will take us!

This move has been so good for us! It has allowed us to spend more time together as a family and we see Cody A LOT more than we used to. Cody is home at night and the weekends and we can go see him at work and we can go as a family to the sporting events which we love to do!! We have traveled to Ogden to watch the UVU Men's Basketball team play Weber State and last week we went to the first UVU Men's baseball game. It was a beautiful night and it was so nice to be outside! These were the first and the beginning of many events I am sure we will be attending. I am really looking forward to fall so we can go and watch UVU Volleyball!! :)

We are planning and getting ready for Taylee's 6th Birthday on Wednesday and hopefully the weather stays nice outside for Taylee's Birthday wish of having cake and ice cream at the park! We can't believe that she will be 6 years old!! But she is more like 5 going on 15! We sure do love that little girl!!!

6 Months

Today Payton is 6 months old!! Holy Cow! Where has the time gone?! He is such a joy in our lives! He is such a happy little boy!

• He has began scooting everywhere. He looks like a little catapillar. He is so fun to watch.
• He loves his sister and she can make him laugh more than anyone! So jealous of her :)
• He loves to watch the television. I think it is because it is so big and bright but he really loves to sit on his dad's lap and watch sports with him and I have noticed he really enjoys Mickey Mouse Clubouse!
• He also loves to get up on his hands and knees and rock back and forth. But what he loves even more than that is to get on his hands and knees and then get up on his tippey toes and but his head down and stick his butt up in the air (he looks like he is doing yoga "downward facing dog") Ha ha ha ha! He is so cute!!!
• He loves to pull hair and grab your nose!

We are so blessed to have this sweet boy apart of our family!! We love you Bubbas!
